Jackie Robinson

Jackie Robinson was an amazing baseball player. He also changed peoples point of view by being the first African-American to play on a major league baseball team. Jackie's team was the Brooklyn dodgers his number was 42 and to top it all off he was in the Hall of Fame. Although some of the Brooklyn dodgers signed a petition from keeping Jackie Robinson off the team that didn't stop Jackie from trying his hardest to show everyone he could play as good as the other players. Jackie Robinson kept trying to sign with the dodgers and on April 10, 1947 he achieved his goal and signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
